My name is Shelby Tull, and I’m thrilled to share my motherhood journey with you. At the age of 24, I embarked on this beautiful adventure of parenthood, and it’s been the most amazing yet chaotic year of my life! And yes, thats our baby you see there in our wedding photo… we went from “Oh yes! Let’s get married” to “Oh shit! I’m pregnant” within 3 days after our engagement. Post-engagement glow turned in to morning sickness real quick. But hey, if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that life has a funny way of surprising you when you least expect it. And this surprise turned out to be our favorite phase of life yet.
I’m a proud mama to a vibrant and curious one-year-old girl, who fills my days with laughter, joy, and a sense of purpose. And as if one little bundle of joy wasn’t enough, our family is growing! We are anticipating the arrival of another precious baby girl due to grace our lives in August 2024.
I’m blessed to be married to my best friend, who also happens to be an ex-NFL player. From tackles on the field to tackling diaper changes, my husband has transformed into the ultimate “Girl Dad”. Together, we navigate the ups and downs of parenthood with unwavering support, love, and teamwork. While the football field may seem worlds away from the nursery, we’ve found that the same principles of dedication, resilience, and teamwork apply in both fields.
Motherhood has ignited a passion within me that I never knew existed. Through this blog, I hope to share the highs and lows of motherhood, offering a glimpse into our family’s daily adventures and challenges. From sleepless nights and teething woes to heartwarming cuddles and first steps, I believe that every moment, whether joyful or challenging, is an opportunity for growth and connection.
So, grab a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine– you know you deserve it) and join me as we embark on this crazy journey called motherhood, sharing everything I’ve learned along the way– one messy moment at a time!
